Lantern for The Lost is inspired by the Myth of Orpheus & Eurydice. Orpheus descends to The Underworld, lyre in hand. He is on a mission to save his wife, Eurydice. At first, he succeeds. His song bends the heart of Death, loosening the gates of The Underworld for the couple to walk back to safety. But, with one important caveat. Eurydice must walk behind Orpheus, all the way to the threshold, and he must never look back to confirm she is truly there. With only one step left between Earth and Hell, Orpheus is overtaken with fear. That one glance is enough for The Underworld to re-claim Eurydice for eternity...
